Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was admitted to Fortis Hospital after he complained of exhaustion and a low heart rate. Doctors said the CM was brought in on Friday evening for a detailed medical check-up. His condition is now reported to be stable.
As per the hospital bulletin, Mann was suffering from fatigue and fever due to his busy schedule. After treatment, his health has shown improvement, and doctors clarified that there is no major health concern.
Sources said Mann is likely to take a short break from work to recover fully, while all government work will continue as usual.
Leaders from across political parties and people from different parts of Punjab have wished him a speedy recovery.
The incident is a reminder of the stressful workload on public leaders, making health care and rest equally important alongside governance.
