Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up for the release of her brother Kussh Sinha’s directorial debut, the horror-mystery Nikita Roy, which hits theatres on June 27, 2025. Alongside Sonakshi, the film stars Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal in key roles.

In a recent interview with IANS, Sonakshi spoke about the upcoming third instalment of the beloved comedy franchise Hera Pheri. She said she simply cannot picture Hera Pheri 3 without Paresh Rawal. “His presence is vital to retaining the film’s original charm,” she explained, adding that his comic timing and warmth are irreplaceable parts of the series.

Only last month, Paresh Rawal announced he would be stepping away from Hera Pheri 3. In a message on his official X account, he clarified that his decision was not the result of any creative disagreement with director Priyadarshan. “I have immense love, respect and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan,” he wrote, stressing that his departure stemmed from personal reasons.

Reflecting on her own experience working with Rawal in Nikita Roy, Sonakshi called it “an incredible honour” to share the screen with an actor of his calibre. “His work over the years speaks for itself,” she said. “Collaborating with him was a truly memorable experience.”

With Nikita Roy poised to showcase a different side of Sonakshi’s talents and the future of Hera Pheri 3 still uncertain, fans are eagerly awaiting updates on both frontiers of her career.
