“When a boy from an Indian village brings global recognition to India, it is a moment of pride. Your family chose the name Diljit, and you continue to win people’s hearts worldwide,” the Prime Minister told him.
As a token of appreciation, Diljit presented PM Modi with a poster from his “Dil-Luminati” tour, which had its India leg finale in Ludhiana on December 31. This meeting marked Diljit Dosanjh’s first interaction with the Prime Minister, coming right after the conclusion of his successful tour.
