Early detection and timely treatment are key to managing endocrine disorders, especially thyroid-related conditions. Experts at HealthCity Vistaar Hospital emphasized that the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare is making thyroid diagnosis and treatment more accurate and personalized.

To mark World Thyroid Day on May 25, a two-day awareness event was organized at the hospital. The event aimed to educate the public on thyroid health and showcase the role of AI in improving patient outcomes.

The health talk featured expert sessions from leading doctors, including Dr. Arun Pande, Chief Consultant and Head of Endocrinology; Dr. Navneet Tripathi, Chief Consultant and Head of Breast and Endocrine Surgery; and Dr. Pooja Ramakant, Additional Professor of Endocrine Surgery at King George’s Medical University (KGMU).

During the sessions, speakers highlighted how AI-powered tools are helping in early detection and enabling highly precise, tailored treatment plans for thyroid patients. They noted that AI technology supports faster diagnosis, better monitoring, and more efficient care management.

As part of the event, free thyroid screenings were offered, with special focus on early detection among vulnerable groups such as pregnant women and children. These proactive screenings aimed to identify thyroid issues before they lead to serious complications.

The hospital’s initiative not only raised awareness about thyroid disorders but also underlined how advanced technologies like AI are shaping the future of healthcare.
